Early Childhood Programs
Infant Program (3–12 Months)
A Foundation of Trust and Discovery
Our Infant Program prioritizes affection, personalized care, and daily multi-sensory experiences within a safe yet stimulating environment designed for early discovery.
We understand that emotional safety comes first. Our educators respect each baby’s unique rhythm and routine, creating secure attachments that support healthy development.
Through intentional interactions and rich Thinking Language during play, we nurture early communication, sensory exploration, and the foundations of autonomy — supporting each child’s holistic growth from the very beginning.
Toddler Program (1–2 Years)
Exploring with Confidence
As infants grow into toddlers, their desire for exploration, independence, and self-expression expands rapidly. At this stage, imagination flourishes and autonomy becomes essential.
Our Toddler Program provides a warm, safe, and intellectually engaging environment designed to foster self-esteem and emerging independence.
Through hands-on sensory experiences, intentional classroom design, and VESS Thinking Strategies, children explore the world with curiosity while beginning to comprehend it more deeply. We intentionally strengthen gross motor development, early cognitive functions, and emotional regulation — laying the groundwork for confident, capable learners.
Twos Program (2 - 3 Years)
Growing Independence with Intention
Two-year-olds are eager for independence and exploration. As communication expands, so does their desire for self-expression and competence. As Ms. Daniela shares, “Self-esteem grows significantly with their capacity to be independent and do hard things.”
Our Twos Program intentionally cultivates autonomy within a structured and nurturing community. Through classroom routines, shared responsibilities, and guided collaboration, children develop confidence and belonging.
Using VESS Thinking Language and age-appropriate self-regulation strategies, we transform big emotions into opportunities for growth. Through our Country Study, Featured Artist, and Unit of Inquiry, hands-on experiences nurture early scientific and mathematical thinking, pre-literacy development, socio-emotional growth, and emerging Mind Habits — maximizing holistic development.
Threes (3 - 4 years)
Curiosity in Action
At three years old, curiosity intensifies and children transition into collaborative play. Language, comprehension, and independence expand significantly.
Our PK3 Program strengthens school readiness while continuing to nurture emotional education, inquisitiveness, scientific thinking, citizenship, creativity, innovation, and high-level thinking.
Pre-reading, phonics, fine motor development, number sense, patterns, and real-world mathematical concepts are explored through meaningful learning experiences that inspire children to want to learn.
With teachers serving as mentors and small-group collaboration at the core, we cultivate autonomous learners prepared to discover the world through our VESS educational approach.
PK4 / PRE-K (4 – 5 Years)
Thinking Beyond Readiness
Our PK4/5 Program goes beyond preparation for Elementary School. We intentionally develop Thinking Skills that promote creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, deep understanding, and problem-solving.
Through personalized learning environments that respond to each child’s passions and interests — combined with research-based VESS Thinking Strategies — students are intellectually challenged while building autonomy and adaptability.
We develop reflective, capable kindergarteners equipped with the tools to build fulfilling, balanced lives beyond school.
The VESS Educational Approach
What Makes Our School Unique?
At Kinovu School, we create a challenging and enriching academic environment where research-based practices and intentional instruction guide every learning experience.
We implement the VESS curriculum, a holistic educational model recognized by the Florida School Readiness Program and certified by the Department of Neuroeducation at the University of Barcelona. VESS is carefully designed to integrate research-based strategies into daily instruction, intentionally cultivating essential Mind Habits and thinking skills beyond developmental milestones.
Through this approach, our learners develop critical thinking, innovation, grit, a scientific mindset, artistic appreciation, bilingualism, and emotional intelligence—preparing them not only for academic success, but for life with confidence, purpose, and strong character.
